I've been on a "new retrowave" tip (or synthwave...whatever people are calling it now) for the past few weeks. If you've been listening to artists like Power Glove, Perturbator, Lazerhawk, or Mitch Murder, you'll know what I'm talking about. Check them out if you don't!

Anyway, it inspired me to open up one of my old Operater patches, called "Junoey," and rework it into a more functional Instrument Rack. I've added macros to increase/decrease the "brassiness" of the sound, as well as to control vibrato, filter env amount, and the all-important "chorus" effect. There are also 3 macros dedicated to controlling the mix between the Sawtooth, Pulse, and Sub oscillator levels. Finally, you have a control for activating or deactivating the oscillator phase re-trigger for all oscillators. Oh yeah, and the Mod Wheel has been mapped to adjust filter cutoff.

I've found this sound to be amazingly useful, not only for 80s retrowave styles, but for house, funk, pop, and hip hop as well!
