Samples of a 1958 Otto Rubner acoustic double bass including bowed notes, plucked notes plus various noises. Arco is 5 velocity layers with 2 round robins, pizz is 3 velocity layers with 3-4 round robins and noises have no velocity layers and sometimes have round robins. Bass was tuned in fifths, one octave below a cello, so the range of notes sampled goes down to C instead of the standard E.
The demo below uses both the arco and pizz mappings, and the main arco line also has the Superfake effect which shows up to turn it into an acoustic supersaw of sorts.
And a track using these samples.
