Using a combination of the Scale and Chord effects, you can come up with some interesting and unpredictable chords or melodies using this rack.

An interesting way to use the rack is to put it in a MIDI track, set the monitoring to In and the output type to a MIDI channel with an instrument already on it. Set the MIDI Instrument channel's monitor to Auto, the I/O input to No Input, and arm the track. Now when you send MIDI notes they can be recorded in the MIDI Instrument channel for further editing, cropping, looping, mangling, etc.
