I created a surprisingly good-sounding and "playable" plate reverb using leftover IKEA shelving and some basic electronics! It's a quick build that doesn't cost much ($100-150 depending on how far you go) and only takes a few hours to put together. Viewers on YouTube were asking me about posting convolution IR files so they can get that sound without having to build anything. I thought it was a good idea so I've done exactly that.
