Here's a cool sound I've been hearing in a lot of darker "future house," "future garage," "future bass" ...or whatever it's called. Anyway, it's a metallic, reverberated, FM-style wub bass sound that's sure to add some darkness and atmosphere to your future...whatever productions! It's also useful for a variety of other styles, including dubstep, techno, minimal, etc.

Use it as a one-shot effect sound, or even as a main lead or bass! The audio example (above) is from a track I'm currently working on, for which I created this patch.

The Macro Controls are set up to give you control over the attack and release times of all operator envelopes, volume of a 3rd operator to add some nice overtones, and the amount of reverb space. For example, try decreasing the Attack Macro control to turn it into a full-on, punchy, aggressive bass pluck.
