The Diva from u-He is a paid plugin modeling the oscillators and filters of several classic analog synthesizers. It is available in 32 and 64-bit VST, AU, AAX, and NKS for Mac, Windows, and Linux.
The Diva has become a popular plugin synthesizer and fans attest to the quality of the sound. Diva is the first native plugin to recreate the circuit simulators in real time and uses more CPU than most plugin synthesizers. It also does more, with the GUI being made up of customizable modular sections with a swath of options. For example, the oscillator section can be switched to five different modes modeling different configurations of mono and polysynths. Likewise, the filter module has five modes as well.
Flexibility continues in the envelope sections; one for the amp and another for the filter, and each one can be swapped to one of three models. A simple effects section, two LFOs, an arpeggiator, modifications panel, and trimmers panel round out the bulk of the GUI, the latter of which purports to let the user craft a more authentic analog sound by subtly tweaking fine tuning of the oscillators and voice drift. A resizable user interface and over 1200 factory presets complete the impressive list of features.
